WHY CHOOSEÂ CORE & SPINE?
Getting Better Together
As a GCC registered chiropractor I uphold the standards of patient care expected of the profession. I employ many different approaches to help my patients achieve their wellness goals;Â what may work well for one person, is not necessarily as effective for the next.
Long standing musculoskeletal issues take longer to address than one which is more recent. Why is this?
Our bodies are generally rather good at adapting to mask our problem areas and keep us moving on. However, when the body is in its’ adapted state it isn’t necessarily able to effectively perform the demands we may make of it. So we get on with life and activity the same as always – the compromises made by our body in order to keep us going following that seemingly trivial niggle are unable to cope with Saturday footy down the park, or moving that heavy or awkward item of furniture. Bingo! We have now exceeded our capabilities and sustained an injury because of the adaptations made to mask that old dysfunction from years ago we thought had sorted itself out. This is why my approach is whole body.
We undertake the work together as a patient, clinician team; I can adjust those stiff joints and  massage and stretch those tight muscles, but I cannot make them stronger. I am your knowledge base and coach for building your strength and increasing your awareness of your habits so you can make the positive changes which lead you to better health.Â
I will advise you on how to get there, only you can take the steps.
Location
Core & Spine are centrally located within Deepcut, adjacent to the new Mindenhurst development. There is ample parking nearby on the corner of Woodend Road/Deepcut Bridge Road as well as additional parking along the main road and also in front of the Complete Fitness building which is where we are located. The clinic is up a flight of stairs on the first floor of the Complete Fitness building, there is a W.C. available for your use. There is a large waiting area where you can make yourself comfortable with a magazine while you wait to be called in to your appointment. If you have time to kill before your scheduled appointment there is a convenience store down the hill towards the canal as well as the very popular Deepcut Cafe if you are looking for a substantial meal or brunch. In Mindenhurst across the park there is a very pleasant pub; The Frog, if you are looking for a more social environment. There are many pleasant walks in the surrounding woodlands with well-maintained pathways and I always recommend my patients to do some gentle movement after a treatment, the canal towpath is nearby and there are the newer SANG open spaces dotted around Deepcut and Mindenhurst.
